Game Of Thrones season 7: the first official poster

Game Of Thrones might be skipping its usual April slot this year, but it’s likely to be only delayed by a few months. It’s believed to be returning at some point in the summer.

Today, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we have the first poster to share. Here it is…

In the longer-than-usual gap between seasons, it’s not just the fans who are getting excited, the stars are freaking out too.

“It doesn’t feel like a panic, but I’m panicked for people, I think,” says Jacob Anderson, who stars in the HBO show as Grey Worm. “I think, and this is true of season six, you can feel that things are coming to a close. It’s all getting a bit much.”

And it looks like we can expect season 7, with its reduced number of episodes, to very much be all killer and no filler.

“The show’s kind of like a pressure cooker…it’s just absolute chaos. I’m just in awe of how everybody’s managing to fit as much as there is into seven episodes. Because, it doesn’t necessarily feel like a normal season, it feels bigger.”

We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.

Game Of Thrones season 7 start date

Collider has confirmed that HBO’s dragon-stuffed mega hit will not return until summer 2017, instead of coming back in the show’s usual April slot. We still don’t know the exact premiere date, but we’ll let you know when we do.

In the meantime, you’ll find teasers, spoilers and cast info over the next few pages…
