As it is with pretty much every blockbuster movie on the planet right now, space has been built into the schedule of Justice League for pick up shots. That, after edits have been assembled, it’s generally the case that a few pick ups are required here and there to glue everything together.
We’re edging past the days when such things were labelled as reshoots, but rumours have been suggested that Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie will be having lots and lots of extra material shot. This has been quickly played down, though, and there’s no sign we’ve got another Suicide Squad-scale reshoot operation happening here. A studio insider is quoted by The Wrap as saying “there has been no additional photography to date on Justice League, we have planned and will shoot additional pickups early summer”.
They added that “additional photography has always been planned like most pictures in general but certainly for a tentpole of Justice League’s size and scope”.
Here’s the latest poster for the movie, while you’re here…
Here’s the latest trailer for the film, if you missed it…
The Justice League will consist of Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman (we presume), Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash. It’ll arrive at the back end of this year.
More as we have it.
