The promo push for Inhumans – a TV event series set to explore a whole new corner of Marvel’s massive shared universe, which is stuffed with super-powered members of the Inhuman race – is stepping up a bit now.
Here’s the first official cast photo, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly…
From left to right, you’ve got: Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon (who’s Inhuman powers involve seismic shock waves), Ken Leung as Karnak (who can sense weak points), Anson Mount as Black Bolt (a word from his mouth can level a city, and also he’s the king of the Inhumans), Serinda Swan as Medusa (who has prehensile hair, and is Black Bolt’s wife), Isabelle Cornish as Crystal (who can control the elements), and Iwan Rheon as Maximus (who can mentally take control of people, and is also Black Bolt’s brother).

And here’s an official synopsis, which arrived online last month via CBR…
“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”
Inhumans release date
The first poster for the show seems to confirm that the Imax cinema screenings of the first two episodes will begin on Friday the 1st of September.
The Hollywood Reporter already told us that that the cinema screenings will run for two weeks, reaching “more than 1,000 Imax theaters in 74 countries”.
After that, thanks once again to THR, we know that The Inhumans‘ TV run will kick off on ABC – in the States – on Tuesday the 26th of September 2017.
Episode one will air then, with the following seven episodes arriving on the next seven Tuesday nights. Apparently, there will be no midseason break or weeks off.
It remains to be seen which UK broadcaster will pick this up, but we’ll let you know if/when we hear anything.
