The summer months will be a distant memory by the time Blade Runner 2049 comes out, but we’re still chomping at the bit to see and hear more about it. The Denis Villeneuve-directed sequel to Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic has been a long time coming, so I guess we can wait a few more months for it to finally land on the big screen.
In the meantime, two brand new posters have been released, featuring stars Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. We’ve added them to our gallery above, which you can get started by clicking the main image up there.
Here’s a preview of the first one, though:
Well now. There’s not much here that we didn’t see in the first proper trailer for the film, so subsequently not a whole lot to get jazzed about. At this point, we’re hoping that the designs get a little more interesting as we get closer to the film’s release.
Twitter users had a field day, of course, with perhaps the best of the bunch featuring Gosling’s collar getting higher and higher.
Ridley Scott also recently confirmed to the Washington Post that there will be a brand new Blade Runner 2049 trailer playing ahead of Alien: Covenant screenings, at least in the US, but only time will tell if UK cinemas follows suit.
More news as we have it. Meanwhile, flick over to page 2 if you like. We’re putting everything we know about the film so far there, including interviews, trailers and story details.
