Production on Jurassic World 2 is going to a particularly exotic location this week, with the Jurassic Outpost site reporting that the dino-sequel is off to Slough. Businesses in and around the Langley Business Centre in the area have been receiving letters advising them that production on ‘Ancient Futures’ will be taking place on the 23rd of February. Ancient Futures is the production name for the Jurassic World sequel.

It’s one day of filming that’s initially planned, with another 11 days of shooting there between now and the end of June.

The most recent addition to the cast is none other than Silence Of The Lambs’ Ted Levine – he of the very distinctive voice that we try not to associate with pure terror and usually fail miserably at.
Levine joins Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Justice Smith and returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the dinosaur-heavy sequel to Jurassic World, which remains the fourth highest grossing film of all time, believe it or weep.

Jurassic World 2 release date
It’s been confirmed that this time around, the UK will be getting the film first. Universal has revealed that Jurassic World 2 will be in UK cinemas on Thursday June 7th, 2018 – over two weeks ahead of the US release.
